Key Responsibilities- Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies for sourcing critical machinery and materials needed for recycling processes.
- Contract Negotiation and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain a reliable supplier network. Manage and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms that meet our technical and financial objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure that procurement strategies support the overarching goals of the company.
- Supply Chain Oversight: Manage the entire supply chain process from order initiation to delivery, ensuring timely execution and compliance with technical specifications.
- Risk Management: Proactively evaluate and respond to supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Inventory Optimization: Refine inventory management practices to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and oversee KPIs to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance continuously.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in deep tech, renewable energy, or plant construction sectors.
- Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong capabilities in negotiating deals, focusing on optimal technological, economic, and strategic outcomes.
- Technical Acumen: A good understanding of metallurgical or chemical engineering processes to align effectively with technical teams is a plus.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Ability to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
