Job Title: Construction Operations Manager
Overview: The Construction Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing a variety of construction initiatives within designated properties, ensuring alignment with client expectations. This position is integral to a global partnership with a leading American specialty chemical firm and may require international travel.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategically planning, coordinating, and supervising all stages of construction projects
- Formulating and managing project timelines and financial plans
- Defining project goals and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders
- Maintaining regular communication with stakeholders and project teams
- Collaborating with both internal and external parties to track progress and ensure adherence to standards
- Providing direction and support to the project team
Additional Duties:
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) protocols
- Conducting site evaluations and overseeing project documentation
- Confirming adherence to building codes and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project/Construction Management or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Strong expertise in safety compliance and technical competencies
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Office applications
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management abilities
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multicultural setting
