About the Role:
Penta Search Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for conducting national and international supplier negotiations, procurement market analyses, and global sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct national and international supplier negotiations from preparation to closing
- Procurement market analyses and global sourcing are not unknown topics for you
- Organize tenders using digital purchasing tools
- Initiate purchasing projects with suppliers in line with the purchasing strategy
- Set up, process, and implement projects
- Coordinate with various departments on needs and markets
- Support purchasing monitoring with regard to price development and expectations
Requirements:
- At least 3-5+ years of experience in purchasing within a manufacturing industrial company (Consumer/FMCG/Food/Personal Care/Chemical)
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Ready for occasional travel (Local, Regional and Global)
- Hands-on mentality, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- Very good command of written and spoken English and German
Preferred Background:
- FMCG/Cosmetics/Personal Care environment
- Sourced raw materials and packaging
