About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Sales Events Manager to join our Berlin team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event sales management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the events industry. As a Sales Events Manager, you'll drive revenue growth by prospecting, managing, and converting leads into successful events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage leads at various stages, from proposal to negotiation and contracting.
- Ensure seamless event execution by collaborating with our Community and Operations teams.
- Work closely with our Marketing department to promote our venues and improve marketing campaigns.
- Generate new leads and business opportunities through personal outreach and outbound sales efforts.
- Organize local events and networking opportunities to promote our offering.
- Identify new business opportunities and pursue partnerships with potential clients, event planners, and corporate accounts.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze revenue reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, vendors, and suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales roles within the events or hospitality industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional negotiation and client relationship management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working at various event spaces and/or event agencies in Berlin is a plus.
- Proficiency in Salesforce is a plus.
- English language proficiency at a C1 level (Advanced/Proficient) is a must, German language proficiency is a plus.
