Background:

Creative Associates International Deutschland GmbH is a vibrant and rapidly expanding global development organization that focuses on education, economic advancement, governance, and post-crisis recovery. With a presence in over 25 countries, Creative Associates is recognized for its strong client relationships, including partnerships with international agencies.

Position Overview:

The Program Management Officer will assist the program management team in executing program activities. This includes identifying and implementing project initiatives, drafting concept notes for selected activities, maintaining direct communication with partners and field personnel, and providing technical support regarding community policing and engagement efforts, as well as monitoring and evaluation requirements.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Senior Program Manager and does not involve supervising any staff.

Key Responsibilities

Main Duties:

  • Support the program management team in creating concept notes, activity documentation, budgets, and amendments, while tracking progress and closing activities upon completion.
  • Collaborate with field staff and partners to develop concept notes and prepare activity documentation, ensuring timely updates and closures.
  • Facilitate the translation of key documents developed through discussions with local governance, policing, and community partners that align with the program's objectives.
  • Monitor progress against the activity work plan to achieve program targets and deliverables.
  • Work closely with the management team and partners to create activity work plans, budgets, and communication strategies that engage all relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to weekly reports, highlight successes, document lessons learned, and address challenges as required by the program.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • University-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in implementing humanitarian, development, or stabilization programs, or relevant project management roles.
  • Experience collaborating with community-based organizations and mobilizing communities around social and humanitarian issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently.
  • Proven teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Strong initiative and creativity in supporting communities to address their challenges.
  • Fluency in Arabic and strong proficiency in English are required.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and software.
