About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Product Designer to join our Product & Engineering team at Celonis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design of our task mining user journeys and creating effective solutions that drive efficiency and value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own key user journeys and shape their vision in collaboration with Product and Engineering counterparts
  • Drive the growth of task mining tools and solutions that identify inefficiencies and their impact on the entire process
  • Work closely with UX researchers to significantly impact how our domain operates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and cohesive experience
  • Guide and mentor other designers to ensure a smooth collaboration from concept to shippable user interface designs
Requirements
  • Strong background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Data Design, Communication Design, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a UX/UI Designer within a software team
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding other designers
  • Domain experience in B2B or enterprise software products, especially for data users like Data Engineers and analysts
  • Strong understanding of data visualization, interaction design, usability engineering, and testing principles
  • Hands-on experience creating complex and interactive data visualizations
  • Excellent English communication skills; German communication skills are a plus
  • Familiarity in working with and contributing to Design Systems in Figma
  • Deep empathy for users and a user-centered design approach, with a keen eye for improving product usability
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with task mining, process mining, or related technologies
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise software market and trends
