As a Project Director at Vitesco Technologies, you will be responsible for leading large automotive projects from acquisition to end of production.
You will head a large project team within Electrification (High Voltage Box), overseeing all disciplines required for a professional project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall project success in terms of quality, timing, and profitability in an innovative and challenging project environment.
- Leverage dedicated accountabilities of the disciplines to support project execution.
- Foster a high team spirit and flexibility in a matrix organization to optimize and adjust the required team and competence structure continuously.
- Implement active competence management, training opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify business opportunities and lead the quote team during the acquisition phase.
- Define project objectives, plan the project, and set up the organization.
- Ensure compliance with a well-established product life cycle process.
- Apply established project management techniques to lead and steer the project throughout all product development phases.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, Business, or comparable.
- Several years of experience in project management, preferably with experience launching an automotive product into high volume production.
- Inspiring leadership skills and experience leading a large project team.
- Strong financial analysis and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan complex and interrelated activities.
- Business fluency in German and English language (speak and write).
