Payroll and HR Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the ongoing payroll in collaboration with our external tax advisor, taking full responsibility for all related processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees regarding tax and social security inquiries, as well as payroll-related questions.
- Ensure accurate payroll processing, including the management of employee benefits (e.g., company pension schemes).
- Oversee reporting, notification, and certification processes, along with correspondence with health insurance providers, social security agencies, and authorities.
- Play a vital role in HR projects (salary reviews, personnel cost rounds, etc.) and continuously optimize and digitize our HR processes.
- Develop and maintain a monthly HR reporting system.
- Assist during audits and collaborate with the accounting team to create provisions.
- Work closely with the HR Operations Team to ensure accurate data management for payroll and support contract creation.
- Act as the key user for our HR software, Personio, and time tracking software, ZMI, ensuring ongoing development and optimization.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree or equivalent commercial training as a tax/social security specialist.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within a dynamic environment, preferably in a shift operation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent command of both German and English.
