Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our avionics team, you will be responsible for the development and certification of our eVTOL aircraft's avionics systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate between various teams and systems to ensure successful certification of avionics systems
- Handle internal system engineering process aligned with development lifecycle needs
- Facilitate integration activities of newly developed and COTS equipment
- Liaise between lab test team and flight test team to coordinate verification activities
- Support validation and verification activities of the whole Avionics system
- Support system level/component level milestones
- Support development assurance activities
- Generate compliance evidence for certification
- Provide support for formal audits and exchanges with EASA
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in aerospace development
- Good knowledge and practical expertise on system development lifecycle according to ARP4754A
- Experience in Avionics functions and technology for communication, navigation, surveillance, indication, crew alerting, and data recording
- Knowledge of certification deliverables for Type Certificate programs in CS-25/23/29/27 programs
- Knowledge of aviation standards such as ARP4761 and DO-160
- Thorough analytical skills and a structured approach for getting things done
- Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards DO-178 and DO-254
- Experience in working in EASA approved Design Organization (Part21J)
