Job Title: Avionics Systems Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing Requirement Management of system/subsystem/equipment level requirements in the Avionics domain
  • Validating and supporting requirements verification activities
  • Addressing problem reports and managing change requests for allocated systems
  • Preparing and performing system and component design reviews
  • Supporting development assurance activities
  • Preparing and performing data-bus design reviews, analysis, and tests
  • Supporting certification activities
  • Facilitating integration activities of newly developed and COTS equipment
  • Working closely with specialists in a multidisciplinary team
  • Participating in communication with certification authorities

Requirements:

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in aerospace development
  • Experience in Avionics functions and technology
  • Detailed knowledge and practical expertise of ARP4754A and DO-160
  • Knowledge of certification deliverables for Type Certificate programs
  • Proven track record of requirements engineering with requirement management tools
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven data-bus experience
  • Experience in working with suppliers for "build to specification" development and COTS integration
  • Thorough analytical skills, troubleshooting experience, and a structured approach
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with software and airborne electronic hardware standards DO-178 and DO-254
  • Experience in working in EASA approved Design Organization (Part21J)
  • Experience in working with ARINC-825 Bus
