Computational Materials Scientist

Your RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Computational Materials Scientist to join our Research & Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating materials simulation and materials informatics approaches with our R&D processes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced materials simulation and informatics approaches to support our R&D activities
- Analyze material-process-property relations to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into industrial practice
- Lead ambitious development projects and drive them to successful completion
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and technological advancements in the field
- PhD in physics, chemistry, or materials science
- Proficiency in one major programming language (Python, C++, C, Fortran, etc.)
- Experience in glass and glass ceramics, industrial development, machine-learned interatomic potentials, and/or data engineering is a plus
- Fluent business English (written and spoken), willingness to learn German
- Willingness to travel abroad
