DevOps Engineering Manager (m/f/d)

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our DevOps initiatives, guiding the evolution of our DevOps practices within the organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing robust infrastructure that serves millions of users, enhancing developer productivity, and driving business success. As the head of our DevOps Engineering team, you will define objectives, oversee project planning, and mentor engineers within agile teams. Your responsibilities will encompass the management of extensive cloud solutions and the leadership of the engineering team responsible for their implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the functional management of an international DevOps team within the core platform experience group. Lead the recruitment, management, mentorship, and coaching of DevOps engineers. Collaborate closely with architects, software developers, security experts, and QA engineers to enhance the agility of our teams, fostering autonomy through our DevOps culture. Ensure that our products are developed with a focus on automation and thorough documentation, utilizing infrastructure as code and CI/CD methodologies. Promote knowledge sharing on DevOps topics within the organization, establishing standards and best practices. Drive the establishment of new processes and the enhancement of existing ones in collaboration with other DevOps managers from the Center of Excellence.Candidate Profile
Proven experience in DevOps and team leadership within an agile framework. Familiarity with public cloud environments, such as AWS. Understanding of DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code, along with their advantages. Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and a preference for working in agile teams. Solution-oriented with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
