About Us: Digital Waffle is a leading e-commerce company that operates the largest online marketplace in its industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our platform.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps team and be responsible for the server infrastructure and architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. They will be responsible for aligning infrastructure needs with application requirements, monitoring and preparing for current and future threats, and providing assistance with insights into implementations and research.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the DevOps team to ensure the smooth operation of our platform.
- Design and implement server infrastructure and architecture to maximize availability and scalability.
- Organize and prioritize DevOps/Sysadmin tasks to ensure timely completion and awareness of project status.
- Align infrastructure needs with application requirements to ensure seamless integration.
- Act as the infrastructure stakeholder for product decisions to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and prepare for current and future threats to ensure the security and integrity of our platform.
- Provide assistance with insights into implementations and research to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience in DevOps engineering with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience leading a small team and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and experience with web applications, SQL databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
