Payroll Specialist and HR Administrator (Temporary Position) in Full or Part-Time (m/f/d)

The Corporate Center serves as the headquarters for the Bertelsmann Executive Board, coordinating all corporate activities and undertaking numerous group functions such as defining and developing corporate strategy, capital allocation, financing, and management development, along with other central tasks in areas including law, human resources, communication, and information technology.
As an innovative service provider for Payroll Services & Systems, we ensure accurate payroll processing for numerous employees and company retirees within the domestic Bertelsmann group, relieving the HR administration workload. Your Responsibilities
As a Payroll Specialist and HR Administrator in our Corporate Center, you will be responsible for payroll processing for your designated personnel area:
- Independent execution of payroll processing using SAP-HCM for a defined personnel area.
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for our clients regarding all matters related to payroll, income tax, and social security.
- Conduct independent correspondence with authorities and health insurance providers, as well as prepare certificates.
- Generate SAP reports and utilize the Internal Control System (ICS).
- Create HR documents (e.g., employment contracts, contract amendments), maintain personnel data in SAP, and manage HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Your Profile
You have successfully completed your (commercial) training (e.g., as an industrial clerk or tax clerk) and have gained relevant professional experience. Your personal profile is further enhanced by:
- Knowledge of payroll processing, social security, income tax law, and labor law.
- Expertise in operational HR topics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ideally experience with SAP-HCM.
- A self-reliant, structured, and team-oriented working style.
- A strong service and customer orientation.
- A pronounced numerical aptitude.
- A high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and reliability.
