Engineering Student Internship Opportunity

Position Overview:
Mercedes-Benz Group AG stands as a leader in the automotive industry, renowned for its premium and luxury vehicles. The Engineering & Technologies division within the Sustainable Infrastructure center plays a pivotal role in managing the energy and resource supply for production and office facilities across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be engaged in a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of our operations:
- Assisting in the development of a comprehensive metering and measurement strategy for resource supply (water, heat, etc.).
- Contributing to project management efforts for maintenance and modernization initiatives related to plant infrastructure.
- Supporting the achievement of sustainability objectives set by management.
- Creating analytical reports and dashboards within the energy management system.
- Participating in the preparation of documentation for management review.
- Maintaining records in the green production database.
- Collaborating on the design of systems for the treatment and recycling of process wastewater.
- Assisting in the formulation of remediation strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in environmental engineering, process engineering, supply engineering, mechanical engineering, infrastructure management, or a related field. Vocational training in a supply engineering discipline is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- A solid understanding of data acquisition and processing (experience with databases is a plus).
- Fluency in German and proficient written and spoken English.
- An independent and structured approach to work, quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and strong communication and teamwork skills.
