Engineering Student Internship Opportunity

Position Overview: The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is recognized as a leader in the automotive industry, specializing in premium and luxury vehicles. Within the organization, the Engineering & Technologies division plays a pivotal role in managing the energy and media supply for production and office facilities across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a metering and measurement framework for media supply, including water and heating.
  • Contribute to project management efforts focused on maintenance and modernization strategies for plant infrastructure.
  • Support the achievement of sustainability objectives set by management.
  • Generate evaluations and dashboards within the energy management system.
  • Participate in the preparation of documentation for management review.
  • Maintain records in the green production database.
  • Collaborate on the design of systems for treating and recycling process wastewater.
  • Assist in formulating remediation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in environmental engineering, process engineering, supply engineering, mechanical engineering, infrastructure management, or a related field. Vocational training in a supply engineering discipline is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with exceptional skills in Excel.
  • Understanding of data acquisition and processing (experience with databases is a plus).
  • Fluent in German and possess good written and spoken English skills.
  • Exhibit an independent and structured work approach, with strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
