About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PV Metrology Consultant to join our sales team and contribute to the expansion of our customer base in Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent WAVELABS at trade fairs and conferences to promote our products and services.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and customers in advanced PV R&D and manufacturing.
  • Consult with institutes, researchers, and PV manufacturers to understand their needs and develop metrology solutions to address their challenges in device characterization.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify potential new customers and evaluate technical market trends.
  • Win new clients, prepare quotes, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Identify and review project tenders and leads.
  • Collaborate with our product development team to support the redesign and further development of our product portfolio.
Requirements
  • A strong technical background with profound PV knowledge.
  • Several years of professional experience in the PV industry or R&D or in similar areas.
  • Experience in sales is a plus.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; German or other language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads.
  • A quick comprehension and a very careful and independent way of working.
  • Good networking in the PV industry and/or R&D is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
