About the PositionThe successful candidate will conduct research in experimental atmospheric physics, focusing on optical remote sensing of the atmosphere up to the edge of space. This will involve developing new instruments and measuring methods in collaboration with local industrial partners within the EU-funded project "EULIAA".
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in experimental atmospheric physics, with a focus on optical remote sensing of the atmosphere up to the edge of space.
- Develop new instruments and measuring methods in collaboration with local industrial partners.
- Collaborate with the research team to advance the scientific knowledge of the mesosphere and lower thermosphere.
- Participate in the development and exploitation of expertise in atmospheric physics, instrumentation, analysis, and modeling.
- PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or environmental sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience with experimental working methods, such as spectroscopy and laser physics.
