Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a pivotal member of the technical liaison team for eVTOL aircraft, responsible for holding approval authority for modifications and dispositions.
- Facilitate communication between Production and Engineering teams.
- Analyze and propose solutions for non-conformances and concessions identified during the production phase.
- Interpret engineering documentation and assist in correcting any discrepancies found during production.
- Balance the diverse needs of Operations, Suppliers, and Engineering to develop effective technical solutions.
- Formulate solutions to a range of challenges, utilizing established company processes and engaging with the broader organization for expertise.
- Employ and comprehend 3D models, assemblies, and system requirements, along with performance specifications and system checkout procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy of engineering documentation and maintain records of production-related issues and their resolutions.
- Provide technical guidance and drawing interpretation across the manufacturing facility.
- Advise on compliance and standards to relevant personnel.
- Utilize your expertise to address both immediate and long-term challenges impacting company objectives.
- Be prepared to work in a shift pattern during specific production phases, though regular shift work is not required.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience is essential.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in aviation, with a strong preference for backgrounds in liaison teams or similar roles.
- Familiarity with OEM Engineering Organizations.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX.
- Basic understanding of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent) is necessary.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment while maintaining flexibility and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various departments, even amidst challenges.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
