Software Packaging Specialist

OSB AG is seeking an experienced Software Packaging Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Design and Develop Software Packages: Utilize MSI, PowerShell Deployment Toolkit (PDT), MSIX, and setup routines to create software packages.
  • Streamline Packaging: Leverage best practices to improve efficiency and reduce complexity in software packaging.
  • Integrate Complex Applications: Ensure seamless integration of applications into Windows installations.
  • Manage Software Packaging Architecture: Consult on software packaging architecture and provide expert advice.
  • Automate Packaging Processes: Analyze and automate packaging processes to improve efficiency.
  • Document Software Packages: Utilize RayFlow and Confluence to document software packages and workflows.
  • Distribute Packages: Ensure smooth distribution of packages using SCCM or Tanium and Microsoft Intune.
  • Liaise with External Services: Collaborate with our 3rd party software packaging service for accurate delivery of software packages.

About You:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration).
  • Experience: Professional experience as a Software Packager in international environments supporting at least 2000+ Windows 10/11 clients.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software management and packaging principles, with demonstrable experience.
  • Collaboration: Experience in cooperating with external software packaging services.
  • Process Optimization: Expertise in optimizing operational processes (ITIL Foundation/Intermediate or equivalent).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with PowerShell Deployment Toolkit and SCCM/Tanium and Microsoft Intune.
  • Communication: Fluent English language skills.
