Supply Chain Management Liaison

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Assistance:
- Aid the Global Head in formulating and executing long-term supply chain plans, support annual strategy formulation, planning processes, and communication.
- Facilitate the implementation of strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
- Organize complex and ambiguous issues and problem statements, engage necessary stakeholders and business owners, coordinate solution-finding processes, and execute problem-solving.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings and workshops to promote alignment and decision-making.

2. Leadership Coordination:
- Manage the global Supply Chain Leadership Team on behalf of the Global Head, coordinating and overseeing activities across the team and among leaders.
- Ensure compliance with and fulfillment of company protocols, such as strategy and priority planning, budget management, and HR-related processes and activities.
- Proactively identify issues requiring leaders' attention or action, collaborating closely with the Supply Chain Leadership Team and the Head of Supply Chain Strategy and Excellence.

3. Project Oversight:
- Oversee and track key projects and initiatives to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, monitoring progress against them.
- Identify and address potential risks and challenges, proposing solutions to maintain project timelines.

4. Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between the Global Head and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize and coordinate executive meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.

5. Analytical Support:
- Conduct research and analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
- Collect and analyze data on supply chain performance, identifying trends and opportunities for enhancement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations.

6. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Assist the Global Head in engaging with external partners, including suppliers, customers, and industry organizations.
- Promote best practice sharing and collaboration across the global supply chain network.

7. Administrative Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head's Executive Assistant to manage the calendar, schedule meetings and appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.
- Maintain an overview of current topics; stay informed about routine and calendar events concerning the leader.
- Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the Global Head.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role, with a strong understanding of supply chain processes and strategies, relevant frameworks, process management techniques, and notation standards required.
- Experience in MedTech or related industries and/or leading consulting firms is preferred.
- Proven project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to build trust and productive relationships.
- High level of discretion and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Self-motivated, open-minded, and adaptable to change, with the ability to lead and empower cross-functional (virtual) teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
