Position Overview:

The role of (Junior) Manager - Electrical Engineering in Strategic Procurement involves overseeing the procurement of electrical components critical to our renewable energy initiatives. This position is integral to our multinational purchasing team, focusing on sourcing and managing supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the technical procurement of electrical components for renewable energy projects.
  • Facilitate bidding processes and maintain supplier partnerships.
  • Engage with global suppliers and keep abreast of industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill project specifications.
  • Establish quality benchmarks and implement cost-reduction strategies.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in procurement or a similar area.
  • Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in both German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • A strong commitment to renewable energy initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
