Operational Sourcing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Sourcing Manager to join our team at Office Events Wiesbaden. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing operational sourcing support to enable the implementation and execution of category strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Global Category Managers to provide operational sourcing support
  • Support several sourcing projects in different sub-categories, including Sales services and Customer Value
  • Use supplier classification and evaluation tools to support Category Managers in supplier governance and oversight
  • Establish close relationships with business partners, Global Business Services enabling functions, and suppliers
  • Perform various tasks related to different systems and processes, such as RFx-Process, Wesave, CorA, DocuSign, MDGx, and Webuy/IBIS R3
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar field, or successful apprenticeship combined with relevant work experience and/or further training
  • Sound negotiation and conflict management skills
  • First experience in Sourcing, ideally paired with experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Intercultural awareness and a customer-oriented mindset as well as strong interpersonal skills
