Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer

FERCHAU GmbH is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to contribute to our team of experts in the field of electrical and automation engineering.

We are committed to delivering innovative solutions for renowned clients across diverse industries. As an EMC Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration and performance of electronic systems by optimizing their electromagnetic compatibility.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the EMC performance of electronic components and devices through meticulous analysis and design.
  • Develop cost-effective strategies for measurement and testing procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive EMC qualifications in accordance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage simulation tools to evaluate the EMC behavior of electronic systems, identifying potential issues and proposing mitigation measures.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurement results.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to coordinate EMC-related activities and ensure project success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in EMC measurement techniques and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with international EMC standards (e.g., CISPR, FCC).
  • Experience working in an EMC testing laboratory is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English.
