Lead Consultant for Public Sector Innovations (m/f/d)

Work alongside your team in the Public Sector to support our clients at the federal, state, and municipal levels, as well as public enterprises, hospitals, and social security institutions. Engage with comprehensive inquiries from strategic alignment and reorganization to controlling, financial management, cost accounting, and the implementation of digital tools, shaping the Public Sector of tomorrow.

Your Responsibilities
Are you eager to leverage your expertise in digital transformation to advance our Public Sector division? Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Provide consultancy to our clients primarily at the federal and state administration levels.
  • Conduct process and organizational analyses, particularly in areas such as justice and internal security.
  • Advise on both technical and subject-specific matters, ranging from strategic IT consulting and reorganization to IT project management, modernization of IT architectures, cost-benefit analyses, and proof-of-concept initiatives, including the application of innovative technologies like artificial intelligence for process automation.
  • Actively participate in the application and establishment of agile methodologies in projects, as well as traditional project and risk management approaches.
  • Assist in developing communication and change strategies, particularly in the context of IT implementation projects.
  • Support the acquisition of complex projects and take on leadership responsibilities.
Your Profile
  • To become a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Public Sector Innovations, you should possess a successfully completed degree in political science, public administration, law, business administration, business informatics, or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience, ideally within a consulting firm focusing on IT or organizational consulting.
  • You have gained relevant experience in at least one of the following areas: IT architecture, process automation, cost-benefit analyses, change management, or project management.
  • You demonstrate a strong interest in consulting on specialized topics such as electronic legal transactions or the digitization of administrative processes.
  • You enjoy creating sustainable outcomes and collaborating within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, high customer orientation, and commitment to personal development set you apart.
  • Fluency in both German and English, proficiency in standard MS Office applications, and a willingness to travel complete your qualifications.
