About the Role
Société Générale Assurances is seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Officer to join our team. As a Trade Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the processing and management of trade finance transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the processing and management of trade finance transactions, including issuance, amendment, and cancellation requests for international guarantees and import/export letters of credit.
- Ensure that all transactions are conducted in accordance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, discussing operational specifics of their requests and resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage fees, prepare invoices, and collaborate with the back office to ensure seamless processing.
- Prepare internal and external monthly business reports and statistics, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
- Report to the Deputy GTB Head of Client Service and collaborate closely with the GTB Front Office and Senior Trade Bankers.
- Support the execution of permanent supervision controls and contribute to the development of trade finance products and services.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Deep knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit and guarantees.
- At least 5 years of experience in a trade finance department in a bank.
- Strong teamwork and client-oriented skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in German and English, with French being an asset.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse environment, with a solution-oriented and flexible working style.
