Job Title: Trade Finance Middle Officer

At Societe Generale, we are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Middle Officer to join our team in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to support the processing and management of trade finance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all transactions are conducted in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the processing and management of incoming issuance, amendment, and cancellation requests for international guarantees.
  • Support the processing and management of incoming issuance, amendment, document presentation, and cancellation requests for import and export letters of credit.
  • Ensure that all transactions are conducted in line with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and discuss operational specificities of their requests.
  • Monitor and manage fees, prepare invoices, and debit accounts in close dialogue with the back office.
  • Prepare internal and external monthly business reports and other relevant statistics.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Deep knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit and guarantees.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Trade Finance Department in a bank.
  • Strong capacity for teamwork and client-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office and fluent in German and English (written and oral).
