Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber & Information Security Architecture Manager to join our team at Cargolux Airlines International SA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security architecture solutions that meet our organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Security Architecture Development: Design and implement security architecture solutions that meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, and implement risk management strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Develop, document, and enforce security policies and procedures, and regularly review and update policies to adapt to evolving security landscapes.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure all security practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance and address any deficiencies.
- Incident Response and Management: Develop and maintain incident response plans, and lead and coordinate response efforts during security incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT, compliance, and business units to align security initiatives with business objectives, and mentor and guide the security team, promoting a culture of security awareness.
- Technical Diploma: Technical diploma with focus in IT, and a Master degree in computer science (or any other relevant field) would be an asset.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in an IT Operations Center with focus on cybersecurity.
- Skills: Strong skills in IT network technologies, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity, good knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure, understanding of network architecture and services, experience with intrusion detection methodologies for detecting host and/or network-based intrusion incidents, experience with log review & live response, familiar with application monitoring concepts, and willing to attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
- Language: Fluent in English (spoken & written); any additional language will be considered a strong asset.
- Personal Qualities: Good problem-solving skills, analytical approach, and research-oriented, passion for excellence, good interpersonal/communication skills, and a customer-centered mindset.
- Contract: Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
- Certificate: A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
