Job Title: Specialist Flight Operations Support

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Specialist Flight Operations Support. This role will be responsible for providing support to our Flight Operations team in the areas of crew planning and information security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and maintenance of crew planning systems, including Jeppesen JCR and JCP products.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and document enhancements in Jeppesen JCR & JCP products.
  • Ensure optimal system performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in crew scheduling systems.
  • Train crew planners in the use of JCR, JCP, and related systems and processes.
  • Support Flight Operations in the area of Information Security (Cyber Security): act as first point of contact for Cyber Security matters, coordinate and support Flight Operation's involvement in the company's Aviation Information Security Management System, document Flight Operations systems key processes and procedures, identify critical information/communications technology systems and processes, participate in Cyber Security Risk Assessments, and monitor and ensure compliance of Flight Operations with EASA Part IS and other relevant requirements.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g. information technology, aviation).
  • Experience in the aviation industry in the field of flights operations, crew planning, and/or cybersecurity.
  • Experience with crew planning tools, preferably Jeppesen JCR and JCP.
  • Structured programming skills, preferably Python, Rave, or Bash.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as communication and organizational skills.
  • Team player, flexible, and willing to work on a variety of topics.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other language will be considered an advantage.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time permanent position based in Luxembourg.
  • Occasional travel might be required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
