IT Solutions Specialist

As a vital member of the IT department, your responsibilities will encompass the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of IT hardware and software utilized by Wandelbots personnel, with a strong emphasis on key operating systems and our cloud-based software ecosystem.
- Operational Excellence: You will ensure seamless operational workflows by managing and refining our internal IT systems.
- User Support: Actively engage with the IT-Service Desk to provide comprehensive support to users, enabling them to perform at their best.
- Process Improvement: Understand the requirements and workflows of Wandelbots users, devising solutions to enhance efficiency through the integration and automation of processes using SaaS tools.
- User Experience Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach to improve the overall experience of our IT services.
- Cloud Solutions: Work with a variety of cloud-based tools and services, implementing cost-effective solutions that deliver substantial value.
- Technical Communication: Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users, ensuring clarity and understanding.
- Project Support: Contribute to projects by providing necessary IT deliverables, advancing Wandelbots' mission to democratize robotics.
- Extensive experience in IT Operations and Support.
- Proficient in managing and supporting Windows and macOS client hardware within a Microsoft Cloud environment.
- Familiarity with a diverse range of major cloud software (e.g., Atlassian Stack, Microsoft Azure and 365, Slack, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of the IT Service lifecycle and associated tools (e.g., Jira, IT-Asset Management Database, Intune).
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.
- Solid understanding of business processes and their alignment with IT services.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and apply new knowledge effectively.
- Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.
- Recognized by peers as a collaborative, open-minded, and ambitious team player.
- Fluency in both English and German, written and spoken.
- Willingness to work from our Dresden office on a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scripting or coding (e.g., Powershell, Javascript).
- Familiarity with automation platforms (e.g., Make, Pipedream, Zapier).
- Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking principles.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies in managing Azure environments.
