Program Mission:
The Campus Within Walls program is committed to offering second chances through higher education. Our goal is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive post-incarceration. By providing access to associate degrees and certificates, we aim to enhance their prospects for meaningful employment and successful community reintegration.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in Health Sciences to incarcerated students.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to a correctional environment.
- Collaborate with correctional facility staff to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Health Sciences or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Health Sciences.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in instructional technologies and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education or community college settings.
- Familiarity with correctional education or experience working in a correctional facility.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and student registration software.
