Key Responsibilities- Develop the Long-Term Tech Product Vision: Translate strategy into feature implementation, driving the growth and success of our ecommerce and retail platforms.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with revenue and non-revenue generating departments to align global priorities and ensure smooth execution.
- Product Roadmap Management: Be responsible for the product roadmap, making key decisions on problem-solving, derived product features, improvements, and integrations.
- Product Discovery Process: Drive the product discovery process in close collaboration with other departments, ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers.
- Delivery Process Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineering in the delivery process, focusing on delivering value timely and in a predictable fashion.
- Product Management Practices: Contribute to developing the tech product management practices and the collaboration model between business stakeholders, tech product, and software engineering.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, resolving conflicts, and ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Key Product Metrics: Help define and monitor key product metrics to measure success and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Adaptability and Agility: Apply business and technical foresight and agility by adapting strategy and roadmap based on feedback gathered in frequent, 'small bet' tests.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve your product through insights derived from meaningful data acquired.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in product management, with a focus on strategic roles; ecommerce and/or retail experience is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in laterally leading cross-team initiatives, aligning multiple stakeholders with diverse priorities.
- Coaching Experience: Experience directly leading and coaching product managers.
- Location: You live in Berlin/the surrounding area or you are willing to relocate.
- Language Skills: Fluent English communication skills, with basic knowledge of German preferred but not mandatory.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of omni-channel retail and ecommerce platforms, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Data Analysis: Strong expertise in utilising qualitative and quantitative data to validate hypotheses and drive decisions.
- Technical Requirements: Ability to write technical requirements (i.e., Epics and User Stories), develop business models, and define operational requirements and processes.
- Communication Skills: Close attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate and advocate for ideas to others.
- Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset, strong thought leadership, and great stakeholder management skills.
- Business Focus: Focus on business outcomes rather than output or input.
