Within BMW Group IT in Munich, we are dedicated to designing, developing, and managing advanced applications for the global Sales Parts network of BMW. Our focus is on delivering cutting-edge IT solutions for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, addressing the demanding requirements that arise from one of the most efficient warehouse management systems in the automotive sector.

What awaits you?

  • You will design, develop, and manage mission-critical applications as part of a dedicated feature team.
  • You will oversee essential project management processes and deliverables to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Collaboration with other teams will be key as you help shape the evolution of our new IT landscape based on SAP S/4 HANA or modify our existing systems utilizing SAP ERP/EWM.
  • Coordinating IT and vendor resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the assigned business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
  • In partnership with our business department, you will define logistics warehouse processes and implement these in modern SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), or SAP ERP WM (Warehouse Management).
  • You will collaborate with enthusiastic BMW teams worldwide to share knowledge and influence the future of BMW Group IT.

What should you bring along?

  • A university degree in Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with a focus on IT or equivalent qualifications.
  • Several years of experience in SAP implementation within warehouse management processes.
  • Familiarity with modern software architecture and agile software development methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM Modules.
  • Ideally, experience with ABAP and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
