About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team at Mace, a leading global construction and consultancy company. As an Associate Director, you will play a key role in leading and managing our project planning and controls activities, ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of project planners and controls specialists to deliver high-quality project planning and controls services.
  • Develop and implement effective project planning and controls strategies to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies and plans.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project planning and controls best practices.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project planning and controls, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Primavera P6.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as APM, RICS, or CIOB.
