FX Dealer Job Description

Ebury is a leading FinTech firm that offers a range of innovative financial solutions, including FX risk management, trade finance, and international payments.

We are seeking a highly skilled FX Dealer to join our Frankfurt office, with a proven track record in dealing and trading experience, as well as exceptional sales skills.

As an FX Dealer, you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of corporate clients across various products, including FX hedging, lending, and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of FX trades with multiple liquidity providers, using various trading platforms, including Bloomberg and Reuters.
  • Collaboration with sales teams to assist in business origination, understanding client business environments, strategies, and industry to provide tailored solutions.
  • Delivering on dealer-specific KPIs, including repeat and new business revenues, reducing client churn, and upselling high-margin products.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular meetings and communication.
  • Origination of new business through networking with existing clients for business referrals.

Requirements:

  • Strong Financial Services sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
  • Experience working in a commercial bank or a similar environment, selling to SMEs, or relevant experience in an FX specialist or cash management role.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements and business/finance academic background.
  • Fluent German and professional-level English language skills.
