As a Senior Category Manager - Fresh Assortment (m/f/d), you will play a pivotal role in transforming the shopping experience by curating an appealing product selection.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance sales and margins within the fresh categories by determining the optimal assortment, pricing strategies, promotional discounts, and in-app presentation.
- Negotiate independently with suppliers of A-brands and cultivate a robust supplier network.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and stay abreast of the latest trends in E-commerce.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Retail Media, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Hub Operations to drive growth and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for optimization within category management to further advance the company.
- Join a dynamic and experienced team, bringing together diverse backgrounds from major retailers and A-brand suppliers.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in roles such as buyer, category manager, or key account manager, preferably in the food sector with a focus on fresh products.
- A bachelor's degree in economics or management.
- Proven ability to analyze category performance and develop strategies based on market trends and internal analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in making pragmatic decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Fluency in both English and German (C1 level).
