Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the profitability of the division by integrating and monitoring initiatives to align the pipeline with targets, while leading the development of metrics in collaboration with various functions and stakeholders.
  • Define and integrate members from cross-functional teams within the Value Management framework.
  • Spearhead the execution and delivery of the Value Management roadmap, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate purpose-driven, high-performing teams with clear roles and accountability.
  • Enhance team efficiency through mentorship and by challenging existing processes.
  • Guide the team in ensuring transparency through data and analytics.
  • Act as the primary driver for metrics based on inputs from procurement, manufacturing, engineering, customer groups, and quality assurance.
  • Lead risk assessments related to various initiatives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies adhering to established standards and constraints.
  • Implement the vision and strategy for divisional Value Management activities.
  • Develop detailed implementation plans at both project and product levels.
  • Review targets, challenge assumptions, and track implementation strategies.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings to ensure commitment to implementation.
  • Organize cross-functional meetings and report on the current status.
  • Drive the cross-functional Value Management teams, monitoring and tracking implementation progress.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of cross-functional teams to achieve optimal cost improvements by fostering team integrity and managing the Value Management budget.
  • Lead communication and reporting efforts regarding Value Management to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Program Manager in the automotive sector.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
    • Cost engineering for electronic systems.
    • Value management principles related to electronic systems.
    • Design and development of electronic systems.
    • Basic commercial knowledge in procurement, controlling, and accounting.
    • Design for assembly methodologies in electronic systems.
    • Automotive quality assurance processes.
    • CO2e reduction initiatives.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of electronic, electrical, and mechanical components integrated into assemblies.
    • Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues through structured solutions and influence stakeholders to align on proposed initiatives.
    • Demonstrated capability to deconstruct assembly processes to the component level.
    • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical and commercial topics effectively.
    • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Technical expertise in electronic products, including electrical, mechanical, and semiconductor components.
  • Experience utilizing data-driven approaches to track progress and measure outcomes.
  • Proficiency in German, Portuguese, or Chinese is advantageous.
