Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java API Developer to join our backend team. As an API Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting our application to new APIs, extending and maintaining existing API connections, and ensuring the correctness of your code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement APIs for our SaaS backend with complex business logic
  • Collaborate with our backend engineers on API feature development and architecture
  • Refactor code to maintain high quality and prevent complexity
  • Investigate and resolve issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Java, with experience in Java 21
  • Familiarity with Gradle, Spring, JPA, scripting languages, and PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of networking, operating systems, and distributed computing fundamentals
  • Commitment to code quality and continuous learning

This is a full-time position based in Berlin, Germany. You must have a permanent residence in Germany to be eligible for this role.
