Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Commercial Lead to drive consistent profitable growth by achieving sales objectives within designated accounts. As a Regional Commercial Lead, you will be responsible for driving strategic, profitable long-term growth and managing all sales and product development activities for all customers in the assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create short- and long-term commercial strategies to deliver revenue and profitability targets
  • Manage key growth initiatives
  • Develop organizational development plans for the region
  • Lead the regional team to prioritize initiatives and activities to deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Share local market information with the Commercial Director and regional team to drive growth in the region
  • Ensure our cost-to-serve model is generating acceptable levels of profitability, and be responsible for cost-to-serve decisions such as sample spend, resource allocation, and creative spend
  • Collaborate with peers to drive best practices across regions
  • Responsible for people management and development for sales and/or customer product developers (CPDs) in the region; Manage people decisions including hiring, promoting, etc.
  • Work through item development process (prioritization of resources and troubleshooting) with CPDs, global program deployment, and variable data specialists
  • Build account growth plans specific to new solutions with Innovation & PLM teams
  • Gain support from Operations & Supply Chain teams when a major program is secured and/or when service disruption/quality is getting back to RBO
Requirements:
  • Successful sales or related experience plus industry and product experience
  • Significant apparel industry and large retailer experience
  • Demonstrated successful experience in a sales position that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience
  • Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies for targeted accounts
  • Excellent financial skills and business acumen
  • High ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
  • Skilled in conducting market analysis and planning
  • Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues
