- Formulate and execute IT procurement strategies and policies to enhance IT expenditure efficiency while ensuring the quality and dependability of IT vendors.
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and vendor assessments to identify and select optimal IT partners for the organization.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, service level agreements, and key performance indicators with IT vendors.
- Oversee and evaluate the performance of IT vendors, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
- Establish and nurture effective relationships with IT vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate IT project teams, ensuring alignment of IT initiatives with business goals and priorities.
- Define and manage the scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards of IT projects.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies associated with IT projects.
- Communicate and report on the status, progress, and outcomes of IT projects to the CFO or senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance of IT solutions with regulatory requirements and standards in the pharmaceutical industry, including ERP systems, data security, GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Provide guidance and support to IT personnel and external service providers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT procurement and project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.
- Strong understanding of IT procurement methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing contracts and service level agreements with IT vendors.
- Exceptional project management capabilities and experience in leading and delivering complex IT initiatives.
- Familiarity with IT project management frameworks and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of IT solutions and technologies utilized in the pharmaceutical industry, including ERP, CRM, LIMS, or MES.
- Awareness of the regulatory requirements and standards pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry, such as ERP systems, data security, GxP, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in English and German is essential.
