We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join our team at Winthrop Technologies, a leading provider of turnkey data centre solutions. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of electrical construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage site quality assurance, project schedules, and labour requirements to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Site Supervision: Oversee the activities of sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of works meets the required standards, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Communication: Collaborate with project teams, sub-contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to project schedules, labour, and quality, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Certificate, HNC/BTEC, or NVQ) and 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment.
- Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience: Data centre experience is advantageous, and a strong understanding of project management principles and practices is essential.
