Wind Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Project Manager to join our Renewables Team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale onshore wind projects from late-stage development to execution closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams and coordinate activities to execute assigned projects
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, focusing on deviation analysis and its impacts
  • Develop clear work breakdown structures to efficiently reach project goals
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are met for each contractual scope
  • Implement Risk Management processes, including risk identification, evaluation, control, and closure
  • Establish proper reporting to stakeholders
  • Focus on continual improvement, implementing digital systems and modern technologies
  • Actively promote a safe working culture
  • Report to the Head of Wind Project Management on project scope, finances, schedule, and HSSEQ

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience in managing large-scale onshore wind projects
  • Basic understanding of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical concepts and drawings
  • Experience managing consultants, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ability to identify and implement cost-saving strategies
  • Able to work independently and as a team, handling multiple tasks
  • Advanced MS Project scheduling knowledge and techniques
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • International project experience
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or International Project Management Association (IPMA) Certification
