Customs Governance Process Specialist

Position Overview:

As a Customs Governance Process Specialist, you will play a crucial role in embedding governance requirements into comprehensive processes while managing related initiatives autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine new processes, offering your expertise to various departments.
  • Proactively adjust governance management systems and associated processes to accommodate legal modifications in customs regulations within the Bosch Group.
  • Drive enhancements, standardization, and optimization within your processes, concentrating on comprehensive End-to-End workflows across interconnected process chains.
  • Facilitate collaboration between governance units, process stakeholders, development teams, and shared service centers.
  • Represent the department in company-wide End-to-End process committees, influencing strategic decisions pertinent to our domain.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A completed degree in Law, Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a related field, or as a Dipl. Financial Officer with a focus on Customs.
  • Experience and Expertise: Extensive professional background in customs consulting, customs administration, or a customs department within an internationally operating firm, emphasizing process modeling and enhancement; adept in designing and executing End-to-End processes and (foreign trade) IT initiatives within a matrix environment; proficient in SAP GTS or comparable foreign trade tools and their integration with other SAP modules (SD/MM/FI).
  • Personality and Work Style: A collaborative team player with exceptional communication abilities; methodical and organized, demonstrating independence and perseverance; a confident and quick learner in new responsibilities.
  • Languages: Fluent in both German and English, with strong written and verbal skills.

Additional Information:

The annual gross salary for this role aligns with our regulations for a standard 40-hour work week, with specific compensation determined by your experience in the position. Additional benefits include a profit-sharing scheme and employer contributions to pension plans.
