Customs Governance Process Specialist

Position Overview:

As a Customs Governance Process Specialist, you will play a crucial role in embedding governance standards into comprehensive processes while independently managing related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate governance requirements seamlessly into End-to-End processes.
  • Develop innovative processes and offer process expertise across various departments.
  • Proactively implement necessary modifications to governance management systems and associated processes to adapt to legal updates in customs regulations within the Bosch Group.
  • Drive continuous process enhancements, standardization, and optimization efforts focusing on interconnected process chains.
  • Facilitate collaboration between governance units, process stakeholders, development teams, and shared service centers.
  • Represent the department in company-wide End-to-End process committees, contributing to strategic decision-making for our area.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A completed degree in Law, Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a related field, or as a Dipl. Financial Officer with a specialization in Customs.
  • Experience and Expertise: Extensive professional experience in customs consulting, administration, or within the customs department of an internationally operating company, emphasizing process modeling and optimization; adept in designing and executing End-to-End processes and (foreign trade) IT projects within a matrix environment; proficient in SAP GTS or similar foreign trade tools and their integration with other SAP modules (SD/MM/FI).
  • Personality and Work Style: A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities; organized, methodical, and self-reliant; a confident and quick learner in new responsibilities.
  • Languages: Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.

Additional Information:

The annual gross salary for this role aligns with our regulations for a standard 40-hour workweek (for a full employment year and contingent on operational requirements). Specific salary details will be based on your experience in the role. Additionally, there is a profit-sharing scheme and employer contributions to pension benefits.
