About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation and Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at eAces GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects related to the expansion and modification of our production facilities in the Munich area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project coordination and independent execution of projects and project tasks to enhance and modify our production facilities in Munich
  • Independent execution of complex project work in electrical, measurement, and control technology, as well as automation
  • Participation in safety assessments (e.g. HAZOPs) of EMSR equipment to ensure facility safety
  • Implementation of SIL requirements in installed measurement and control technology
  • Representation as a subject matter expert in internal and external expert groups, such as NAMUR
  • Your expertise will contribute to the maintenance and development of internal technical standards, enabling the evaluation of new systems and software and driving ongoing innovation and optimization initiatives.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an engineering degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, energy technology, or a comparable field
  • Several years of experience in chemical production facilities, refineries, paper industries, or similar
  • Enjoyment of challenging tasks in interdisciplinary teams
  • Team skills, motivation, and communication strength
  • Excellent German language skills - English language skills are an asset
