Role Overview

As a pivotal member of our Front Office team, you will oversee daily operations, guiding and motivating our reception staff to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests from arrival to departure.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Front Office team, fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment that empowers staff to deliver outstanding service.
  • Optimize occupancy levels by managing rates and overbooking situations, ensuring a full and satisfied house.
  • Address operational challenges proactively, working alongside your team to implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere, even during high-pressure situations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols to protect guests and their belongings.
  • Oversee the management of the Property Management System (PMS) and generate reports for various departments.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of team performance and facilitate meetings to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to manage staff schedules effectively.
  • Ensure all areas of the Front Office meet maintenance and cleanliness standards, promptly reporting any issues.
  • Demonstrate cultural awareness and adaptability in interactions with diverse guests.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a hotel or similar environment in a comparable role.
  • Fluency in both German and English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with front desk operating systems such as Micros Fidelio Opera and knowledge of GDS is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • A collaborative spirit, willing to contribute to team success and support colleagues.
