We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our robotics and automation team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for industrial automation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical systems that meet the requirements of industrial automation projects.
- Material Selection and Bill of Materials: Evaluate material properties, select appropriate materials, and create a bill of materials for electrical components.
- Integration and Testing: Work closely with control engineers and automation specialists to ensure electrical designs align with automation requirements, integrate sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other automation components into electrical systems, and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic for automation systems.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure that electrical designs comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems during installation and startup, troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) for electrical design, knowledge of industrial automation technologies, including PLCs, SCADA, and fieldbus communication protocols, familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC), and familiarity with designing CE-certified AGV control systems and automation systems.
- Personal Qualities: Independent, thorough, and team-oriented attitude, enthusiasm, good communication skills, high motivation, and a supportive attitude.
- Travel Requirements: Available for travel up to 40%.
