Main Purpose of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of systems, ensuring they are delivered within budget, on time, and to specification.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Deliver systems that meet customer requirements and expectations.
  2. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Develop and maintain system CAD layouts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Identify and develop system control philosophies to optimize performance and efficiency.
  5. Produce engineering specifications for bought-out equipment or works packages, ensuring compliance with technical and statutory regulations.
  6. Manage project suppliers, internal and external, to ensure agreed project deliverables are achieved.
  7. Conduct designers' risk assessments for system design concepts, ensuring safety and compliance.
  8. Ensure design criteria complies with all applicable technical and statutory regulations.
  9. Carry out pre-delivery inspections of bought-out equipment, ensuring quality and compliance.
  10. Produce method statements and risk assessments for site works, ensuring safety and compliance.
  11. Manage site works, including knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Studied in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Material handling experience.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Projects.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, and proficiency in the mother tongue of German.
  • A valid passport and willingness to travel extensively across EMEA.
  • A Band 'B' driving license.
