Who we are looking for...

You are an experienced IT professional with in-depth knowledge in the Windows environment, ideally already in an administrative role? Active Directory is familiar to you, and you possess extensive experience with SIEM systems and various security alerts (firewalls, antivirus software, etc.)? You wish to deepen your skills in a dynamic environment and advance to an expert in cybersecurity within our Security Operations Center (SOC)? Then you are exactly who we need.

Your support is needed...

  • in monitoring the IT infrastructures of our clients to prevent cyber attacks and resolve incidents
  • in reviewing and categorizing incoming client reports
  • in recognizing (security) incidents and monitoring alerts within our clients' system landscapes in a 24/7 shift operation
  • in initiating and coordinating appropriate remediation or countermeasures according to established workflows
  • in resolving incidents within the defined response and resolution times and forwarding them to the next levels as necessary

You are a good fit for us if...

  • you have completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g., IT specialist for system integration), a comparable degree, or have relevant professional experience
  • you are a career changer looking to take your first steps in IT security
  • you bring 2-3 years of professional experience in IT, with 1-3 years in IT security being desirable
  • you possess knowledge in networking (switching, routing), operating systems, and standard technologies (e.g., DNS, DHCP, Active Directory...)
  • you ideally have basic knowledge of security technologies such as next-gen firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS systems, etc.
  • you have experience with SIEM and security alerts of all kinds (firewalls, antivirus software, etc.)
  • you are a team player and enjoy working closely and effectively within a team
  • you have an interest in training and education to better understand current techniques, threats, and attack scenarios
  • you are characterized by an independent and solution-oriented work style
  • you have a confident demeanor and can demonstrate good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
