Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Specialist (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing top-notch IT services to our employees, enabling them to perform their scientific and administrative duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the IT user service within the central IT department, providing first and second level support, on-site assistance, and managing service requests and fault reports.
  • Support scientific IT systems by commissioning various systems, including those for microscopes and testing machines, across multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
  • Independently develop solutions for system-related issues and collaborate with higher-level support teams to resolve complex problems.

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems and their integration with server systems, particularly in an MS Exchange environment.
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware, peripherals, and IP networks.
  • Basic familiarity with various LINUX distributions.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-compliant service processes.
  • Fluency in German at C2 level is mandatory, along with good written and spoken English skills.
  • A Class B driving license is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
